Date: Saturday, May 24th, 2025

Time: Noon until about 6 o'clock p.m.

6038 S Pilgrim St, Seattle

Schedule*

Noon-1 o'clock: Cocktail Hour

Enjoy a delightful selection of '70s-inspired cocktails, wines, NA beverages and appetizers. Bar is complimentary but cash tips for the bartender are appreciated!

1pm: Ceremony

Sit in the conversation pit and watch us get married.

1:30-2pm: Scene Change!

Take a walk to the nearby park so we can switch up the space and the kids can get some energy out. Child wranglers will be on duty to help. You don't have to leave, but if you stay in the venue you might be put to work.

2pm: Buffet Opens

Retro deliciousness.

2:45pm: Dessert Bar Opens

Even more retro deliciousness.

3pm-6pm: DISCO

Boogie all the way down to classic and modern disco jams!

*Extremely subject to amendment

Gifts

Having lived together for over a decade, we have plenty of toasters. No gifts are necessary; the honor of your company is all we want.

But if you strongly desire to give us something the thing we need most is help paying off our energy loan. It might sound unromantic at first, but that loan is the impediment to us getting a HELOC and unlocking the true path to marital bliss: a second bathroom.

FAQ

Can I RSVP on this website?

Nope! Please return the RSVP card included in your invitation–postage is included, we love the USPS! (Plus it's the '70s, who even knows what a website is anyway?) Or if need be you can shoot us an email or text.

Are children welcome?

YES! We want to celebrate with loved ones of all ages.

Should I dress '70s?

YES! If that sort of thing is fun for you. If not, just wear whatever you feel happy in. Well, happy and family appropriate.

What's with the '70s theme anyway?

Our relationship has always had a '70s vibe. It's our power decade.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Unfortunately no. Rainier Beach Community Club predates both the ADA and the '70s by several decades and the only access to the main space is via stairs.

What happens to the walk plan if it's raining heavily?

We'll stay inside and play retro games!
